Track & Field

Both men and women teams traditionally compete during the spring season. Men and women train together and are considered the same team, but compete separately at the same meet. There are typically 16 (17 in Oregon) events performed at any given track meet, allowing many types of athletes an opportunity to compete. Track & field is a no-cut sport, all athletes are welcome; we will find events that are best suited for your success. While athletes compete in various individual events, track & field is still a team sport and can only be successful when athletes focus their success for the betterment of their team.
The top 3 athletes in every event are considered the Varsity athletes, everyone else competes at the Junior Varsity level, but those standings can and will change between every track meet.
