Hilhi Band and Color Guard Take First Place

Congratulations are in order for the Hilhi Band and Color Guard who won first place in their division at Pride of the Northwest Marching Band Competition in Grants Pass, Oregon during the weekend of Oct. 12-13. During the prior weekend, they won first place in their division at the Pacific Coast Invitational in Sprague, Oregon. Says Hilhi Band Director Geoff Fotland: "The student's hard work and dedication shown in their practicing since when they started on August 5th have really paid off. Now they are beginning to see results that are exceeding their expectations." Well done, you make us all Proud to be HSD and Go Sparts!
