Medications

State law prohibits students from carrying prescription medications at school. If your student needs to take a prescription medication, a parent must bring it in to the health room for storage. Your student will be excused from class when they need to take the medication.

All prescriptions need to come in its original container. No medication should be brought to school in a plastic bag. There is a form that must be filled out with a parent’s signature before your student can use medication at school. If you have any questions contact health assistant for more information.
